Loutraki beach is located in the southeastern part of the peninsula of Akrotiri in the prefecture of Chania, Crete, 16 km from the city of Chania.
Loutraki beach is a waveless beach with fine sand, between the rocky shore of the bay.
On the beach of Loutraki, you will find shade under the scarce trees as well as umbrellas, sun beds and chairs belonging to the canteen operating on the beach.
The beach is most preferred by families.
In recent years, the Mare Nostrum Villas complex, built on the south side of the bay, has been a synonym of Loutraki.
Apart from the rental villas, at the complex there is a restaurant and a beach bar on the landscaped lawn space over the rocky shore, aimed at everyone, not just the residents of the complex, and has become a meeting point for the youth of Chania, mostly on weekends.
